meet nazrana

Nazrana is a dynamic, creative and adaptable Conflict Specialist, Coach and Counsellor, with international experience. She is an articulate, diplomatic and experienced communicator, consistently seeking knowledge and working to the highest professional standards. With passion, is the way she inspires and empowers those she works with to push themselves beyond their comfort zone. Her “gentle yet no nonsense” approach challenges them to step up to their potential to be conscious and evolved human beings. Although calm in her demeanor, she has been called “The Iron Maiden” by many of her clients.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, educated in Cape Town and London, lived and worked in London, Mumbai and Johannesburg, travelled extensively to over 25 countries, Nazrana is what you would call a truly multi-cultural individual with global experience.

After obtaining distinctions in both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Marketing and Communications she went on to gain international experience in the field of healthcare public relations linking her to many of the global pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, GSK, Eli Lilly, Novartis and Roche. This field further linked her experience with internationally aligned charitable organizations such as the International Osteoporosis Foundation, the Parkinsons Disease Society as well as The British Heart Foundation to name a few.

Her work with the charitable organisations triggered a desire to search for more meaning, and a Bollywood Industry offer came at just the right time taking her to her spiritual home – India. Whilst living and working in the bustling city of Mumbai she seized the opportunity to work with Quest – a small volunteer personal development organization empowering and motivating individuals to achieve their full potential.

Nazrana’s last 8 years have been in Johannesburg, where she strongly felt the need to start working more towards using her skills and giving back to society. She built on the foundations that she had whilst working in the field of communications and expanded her learnings to include understanding human behaviour and emotions. With this in mind she started Xhilarate Communications and began offering structured programmes in Effective Communications, Health, Wellness and Trauma. It is under this banner that she developed a special interest in anger management and acquired the Johannesburg franchise rights for The Anger and Stress Management Centre of South Africa. She ran this franchise successfully for five years, offering structured Anger and Stress Management programmes in conjunction with her existing programmes.

Combining all of her knowledge and experience in communications, trauma, coaching, anger and stress, Nazrana has created The Inside-Out Method, a contemporary and cutting edge programme which has been adapted to deal with conflict on a practical level and in the modern world.

Nazrana’s intention is clear – it is to serve, to communicate, to educate and to navigate people toward building peaceful and long lasting relationships within the world she lives.
